Quakers at the Ballpark, June 10 – Get ready for the 2nd annual “Quakers in the Ballpark” Tacoma Rainiers baseball game! This year’s contest pits the Rainiers against the mighty Sacramento River Cats on June 10, at 6:05PM. Last year’s game saw Quakers streaming into the park from as far away as Olympia, Browns Point, and all points between!  We need at least 20 people to qualify for the group rate of $15.50. This includes a seat, hotdog, and drink. Children under 3 who sit on a lap are free. We’ll use a “pay as you are led” model so that everyone who wants to attend can go. Parking is on your own at $10/car.

Please reply to Tom Krughoff by May 11 if you’d like to participate. At that time, we will know if we get the group rate or if we need to adjust plans. Tom will reserve the tickets, and you can pay him back at your convenience (but by game day). Email Tom Krughoff at twkrughoff@gmail.com or call/text 317.696.8451 to reserve your spot. Please pass this message along to those in your worship group/meeting/church. All are welcome!

Crochet Circle: Learn how to crochet plastic mats from grocery bags. These mats are lightweight, resist moisture, and serve as a cushion from the cold, hard ground. People who live on the street welcome these mats.
